​2021 Kristi Mountain Sports Fat Bike Race 

Back for the third year is the Kristi Mountain Sports Fat Bike Race! Bring your fat bike (3.0"+) down to Alamosa Riparian Park for a fun but challenging race over the snow packed trails. If you don't have a fat bike, Kristi's will provide you with one! Only $10 to register with your own bike, $20 if you need a rental. Earn style points for dressing like your going to the beach!

Schedule - Sunday, January 31st, 2021
  • 9:30am-9:45am: Register/Sign In @ the Alamosa Riparian Park
  • 10:00am: First heat begins @ the Alamosa Riparian Park
  • After heats: Finals Races
  • After Finals: Awards 
Race Course
The race course is a 2.7-mile sprint around the Alamosa Riparian Park. The surface is groomed single track and dirt/gravel track. 

Race Format
The Fat Bike races will begin with heats of 5-7 participants. Heats will consist of one lap of the 2.7 mile course. The top 5-7 racer times will be entered into the finals. Races will be split into Men's and Women's divisions. 
We recommend you pay close attention to weather forecasts prior to the race. Temperatures will likely be below freezing! Beach attire (with warmth layers) is highly encouraged!!
The race will begin and end at the Alamosa Riparian Park. Located at 400 Lakewood Dr. in Alamosa, CO. Coordinates for the parking lot and start/finish line are: 37.491553, -105.891426
 The race is manually timed. Results will be posted on this page within 48 hours of the race end. 

Prizes will be given to the top three male and female finishers.
