The race course is a 1.5-mile short track around Blanca Vista Pond. The surface is groomed snow single track. Portions of the course are wider, allowing for racers to pass.

Race Format
The Fat Bike races will begin with heats of 5 participants. Heats will consist of two laps of the 1.5-mile course. The top 5 racer times will be entered into the finals. Races will be split into Men's and Women's divisions. Divisions will be combined if there are not enough racers of a particular gender to merit its own division.

Clothing/Footwear
We recommend you pay close attention to weather forecasts prior to the race. Currently, it is forecasted to be around 15-20°F at the start of the race. Pirate costumes are encouraged; aaaaarrrr!

The race will begin at Blanca Vista Pond (across from the Cattails Golf Course on North River Road). Parking is available at the Blanca Vista pavilion, at the Blanca Vista Dog Park, on the side of North River Road, and at Cattails Golf Course.
